Short processing times The concept of simultaneous welding is based on the principle of laser transmission welding. One or several particularly adapted laser beam(s) irradiate the entire welding seam at the same time. This leads to purposeful melt of the plastic within the seam area, so that under the applied pressure a firm welding is accomplished. A relative movement between laser beam and work piece is not necessary. Due to the short welding times, this concept is particularly well suited to the welding of large series.
