Quick and Precisely

The concept of mask welding is based on the principle of laser transmission welding. A computer controlled position system moves a line shaped laser beam over a structured mask. The parts are welded where the laser light reaches the parts through the mask. Covered areas will not be irradiated and therefore get only minimal thermal stress. This unique concept allows to weld quickly and precisely fine structures down to about 100 micrometer. Surface areas, as well as straight and curved lines can be welded in one process. The easy to exchange mask guarantees a high flexibility.
